Foundation Safety and Rescue Training - 19.07
The FSRT course is for all rowers, regardless of boat or vessel, it is an official British Canoeing training. The aim of the course is to teach the rower the necessary skills and ensure the safety of himself and his companions. The aim of the course is to ensure the right rescue techniques for rowing to help yourself and others in dangerous situations.
The course teaches the use of four different swimmer rescue techniques. Deep water rescue from canoes, kayaks, SUP board and rapids. The use of haulage and hauling lines. Rescues of an unconscious or rower trapped in a boat. Self-rescue with canoes and kayaks. All-in-water solutions.
The training will take place in the coastal area next to Kelving harbor on Friday, July 19.
The training fee is supplemented by a 5GBP BC registration fee for BC members and 10GBP for non-members.

Start at 10:00 in Karuskosel, end at 18:00.
The price includes the necessary equipment, including calypso.
You must bring your own lunch and drink. A change of clothes with a dry suit or calypso.
The training is suitable for all people who come into contact with water regardless of the situation. Recommended for all organizers of paddling competitions, class teachers, hiking organizers, mothers and fathers.
