Estonian marine rowers the meeting will take place in 2022 on 1-3. July in Saarnak. This summer happens event for the thirteenth year all new and old kayaking friends are welcome to take part, regardless of age, gender or experience.
You can attend the symposium by kayak only. Because the number of seats is limited, we recommend booking early.
Two hours courses focus group and individual skills. The topics are technical and tactical personal skills (equipment, further rowing, kayak control, wave and wind rowing, self and other rescue skills, etc.), group rowing risk assessment and management, rescue, emergency response. Friday evening course introduction, introductory tour and sauna. Saturday night sauna, acro yoga, slack-line, talk circles on various topics. Departure on Sunday at around five.

Sea Kayaking Estonia Gathering SKEG2022 takes place on July 1-3rd in Saarnaki. This year we can celebrate the 13th anniversary and everyone interested in sea kayaking are welcome to participate.
This year's focus is on personal skills and paddling in a group skills. All together almost 20 topics to choose from. As usual we have sea kayak coaches from Estonia, England, Latvia and Finland.
Over both days there are six 2-hour sessions, based on personal and group skills. Topics are covered from kit to communication, personal skills, incident management to leadership skills. On both days there will be a half day trip to small there islet's nearby.

For the third year in a row, SKEG is taking place in Saarnak. The symposium begins Friday night with attendance and ends Sunday at 5 p.m. Courses begin on Saturday at 9 p.m. Kel it is reasonable to attend on Friday night.
NB! All participants bring food and drink (including drinking water) and bedding. All garbage generated comes to the mainland bring back.

SKEG2022 will take place in Saarnaki, crown jewel of Hiiumaa islets. We advise everyone to arrive on Friday evening by 8pm for the official opening and get to know everybody meeting. Courses start on Saturday morning. All participants should take care of their own food and drink supplies and camping equipment.

WHAT TO BRING

Rowing clothes:
- Dress according to water and air temperature. A warm wash and a waterproof jacket are usually enough in the summer. Leg shorts or sports pants are suitable for warm weather.
- The foot could be water-resistant shoes. If you can't find anything suitable, you can borrow from us neoprene for surfing.
- Depending on the weather, the head could have a warm hat or a hat with a wide rim, etc. that protects from the sun.
- With a water temperature of up to 15 C, it is recommended to use a dry suit and at least a thin (sports) layer of warm wash underneath. If the water temperature is below 10 C, a thicker warm cloth, eg Polartec fleece, should be used under a dry suit. If necessary, dry suits are provided by SKE.
- Gloves (waterproof, work, cycling or other gloves) are not required for rowing.
Camp clothing:
According to the weather forecast, a pair of changing clothes and shoes to move around in nature.
Personal camping equipment:
Sleeping bag, mat and tent.
Food and drinking water.
Sunscreen and other personal hygiene products and medicines as needed.
Canoe clothing and camping clothing.

In Salinõmme, you should park in the parking lot outside the Salinõmme harbor gate and along the road in the outer curve (eastern edge). Boats can be launched from the shore of Salinõmme Protected Area Harbor . If parking in Salinõmme becomes tight, the alternative is to do the crossing from the state owned land north of Sarve harbor (ca. 500m longer paddling to Saarnaki), from where you could similarly leave in groups by paddling around the northern tip of Saarnaki.
Recommended landing place in Saarnaki . You have to camp on the island in the courtyard of the Rehe property .
