The 9th international Sea Kayak Estonia Gathering (SKEG) takes place July 20-22nd on Pedassaare island on Estonian North Coast. Our symposium is travelling and exploring wonderful Estonian locations. In addition to Estonian British Canoeing coaches, there will be guest coaches from UK, Spain and Finland.
The number of participants is limited due to Landscape Reserve regulations, so registration will be closed when the places are full.
The Symposium is a relaxed event which changes with the weather to offer a flexible, fun and action packed weekend. Meet and greet old friends and new, share your experiences and learn practical tips from those that do.
As the gathering is held on an off shore island, be ready with expedition style camping. The camp site has dry-toilet, fireplace and tables. There is no electricity or running water. Every participant needs to bring own food and water supplies and camping gear.
We offer kayak hire from our SKUK kayaks fleet.
Gathering starts on Friday evening at 18 hours to make collective crossing to the island. We will have multiple crossing to the island and would be nice to join one of them.
Half day courses start on Saturday at 10 AM and 9:30 AM on Sunday.
We will be back on mainland around 5 PM on Sunday.
